Weekly entertainment programme

Ludorati releases its weekly entertainment programme of activities and events, alongside the announcement of launching special interest groups, creating a social hub for café goers.

new games ambassador

Ludorati Café is pleased to announce that Rollie Tesh is joining on assignment as the Café’s resident Games Ambassador and brings an international presence to the Café. Rollie is a game designer of over 20 games, most notably with Decipher Inc, including the original Star Wars and Star Trek CCGs, NCIS and ‘That’s It’. He is a FIDE rated Chess Master and Pente World Champion. Pente will soon join the Classics list at the Café as Rollie looks to establish Ludorati’s Classics Club internationally alongside the wider boardgame library, as well as becoming an integral part of the Ludorati Biz team. Visitors to the Café will also be able to challenge Rollie at the Giant Chess!

LUDORATI tournaments (with prizes)

Each evening from Monday to Friday, Ludorati will be running tournaments on popular games with cash equivalent prizes for Members (non-members can join pre-tournament). The first series includes Ludorati’s Quick Monopoly version, Ticket to Ride, Catan, Cluedo/Clue and Splendor. To enter members only have to pay the normal game hire charge of £5 for 4 hours. CLASSICS CLUB LAUNCH

Ludorati Café launches the ‘Classics Club’ for playes of Chess, Go, Backgammon, Othello and Draughts in the general café area. The Club will cater for open casual play, leagues, events and tournaments.
